Friday the boys were playing in the sandbox. I know they say diamonds are a girls' best friend, but I'm sure somewhere someone has said something about sand being a boy's best friend. Sand, sand, and more sand -- we find it in shoes, in pants, in our books.

Here Cameron is covered in sand, holding a stick in his hand, and grabbing my hand so he could show me some rocks he found. 

Here Andrew is trying to decide if he can get away with throwing the sand clasped in his hands.
